Joe Caramagno Sr, along with his brothers owned and operated one of the largest waste removal companies in Detroit during the 1950's & 1960's, the family decided to sell the large company in the early 70's. Joe Caramagno Sr., decided to open a smaller waste removal company that focused on dedication and customer service to his customers. With that in mind, Joe Caramagno Sr., along with his sons, Joe Jr., Mike, open the doors to Car Trucking in 1979.

It didn't take long for these experience haulers to be awarded contracts for the City of Birmingham and Bingham Farms. Although almost 30 years have past, and Joe Caramagno Sr. has passed away. He would be proud of the endless efforts and dedication that his sons, Joe Jr. and Mike are carrying on. Joe Jr. & Mike take pride in the fact, that their family company now services the cities of Birmingham, Bingham Farms, Ferndale and the Village of Beverly Hills, and has grown to nearly 1000 commercial accounts, without ever compromising the beliefs the company was founded on.
